Introduction to Natural Dyes

$250In this course, we’ll explore a variety of bold, natural dyes: some wild, some that you can grow in your garden, and one or two that are a little more exotic. Students will leave with a bundle of colorful skeins, a new skill, and inspiration for a winter’s worth of knitting and a summer’s worth of gardening. Instructor Prin Van Gulden has been growing dye plants, dyeing her yarn and wool for spinning for more than 15 years, and is passionate about teaching others to develop these skills and relationships with plants and their craft.
