Woven Garden Obelisk and Peony Crowns in Willow

July 14th –  July 15th

9:00am – 5:00pm

Workshop Overview:

In this workshop, students learn traditional weaving techniques while creating garden supports and focal pieces. Students will use willow grown at Sanborn Mills and weave obelisks and peony crowns through a modern cosmopolitan combination of traditional weaves: Irish mouth wale, French randing, three-rod wale, Japanese eye knot, and god’s eye.
