May 15 @ 9:00 am - May 16 @ 4:00 pm$200
Join us to learn Rug hooking, a traditional New England fiber art that beautifully combines artist expression and function. In this course, students will learn the core skills of rug hooking and make a 16” x 16” piece. Designs will utilize a “hit and miss” approach to color. With the skills learned in this course, students would be able to progress to pieces involving more complex designs and color shading in the future. Use your finished piece as a wall hanging, pillow, or chair pad! The workshop fee includes a kit with a pattern, material, and a rug hook.
Students Should Bring:
