Blacksmithing: Creating in Copper, Brass, and Iron

In this workshop students will learn how to cut, shape, then anneal copper and brass sheet, then sinking and raising to form a spoons, ladle and drip pan, then forge the iron parts to go with them: candle holder arms, bases, and candle cups to make candle holders or handles for serving utensils. Round out the set with a rack or fork if time permits. Beginners and experienced smiths are invited to try their hands on basic and more demanding designs. All workshops run from 9AM- 5PM with an hour for lunch in the middle of the day.
