Intermediate Blacksmithing

This class is intended to help those with solid fundamentals improve their technical and design skills. Emphasis will be placed both on making and maintaining a coal fire to achieve the ideal heat, and hammer technique, leading to further mastery of basic and advance operations, and ultimately well integrated and graceful designs. Students should come prepared to apply their newly acquired skills to projects of their choosing, including a hearth tool, piece of door hardware, or another home accessory. All workshops run from 9AM- 5PM with an hour for lunch in the middle of the day.
