Kate Hanlon
Kate Hanlon is a printmaker with a special love for the white line woodcut. Inspired by the Provincetown artists who invented the technique in the early 1900s, she aims to carry the tradition forward into the 21st century. Kate’s award-winning prints are included in public and private collections throughout the United States, and she is a popular teacher of drawing and printmaking for several New England venues. When she’s not making woodcuts, Kate can be
found puttering in her dahlia garden or playing Irish fiddle at a local session near her home in Newburyport, MA.
